Pollo con arvejas

INGREDIENTES: para 6 personas


1 pollo de 4lb despresado
2 cucharadas de aceite
50 gr de manteca de cerdo
1 cebolla picada
100 gr de tocineta entreverada picada
1 lb de arvejas
1 taza de caldo de gallina
Sal y pimienta



PREPARACIÓN:


Caliente el aceite y la manteca en una cazuela de barro y rehogue la cebolla hasta que esté transparente.

A continuación, agregue la tocineta, revuelva y añada las presas de pollo. Rehogue todo hasta que el pollo esté dorado. Seguidamente, incorpore las arvejas, sazone con sal y pimienta, rocíe con el caldo, tape y continúe la cocción a fuego bajo durante 1 hora, o hasta que el pollo esté en su punto.
